What's Consignment?
So, you've tried Craigslist, eBay, yard sale groups on Facebook, pretty much everything you can think of to get that guitar out of the house for a decent price, but you haven't had an ounce of luck. That's where we come in.
For consignments received after 5/25, we will operate under an 80/20 percentage across the board. This will not be applied to current consignments currently under the previous $1000+ terms. This change has been made to accommodate increased marketing and transaction costs on higher-end items as well as higher fees for shipment protection.

A few things to keep in mind:
- We are primarily a guitar/bass shop, with a very specific regular customer base. We have successfully sold consignment percussion items, PA gear, lighting equipment and school band instruments. We don't specialize in any of these and all consignments under these headings will only accepted with the consignor notified of this disclaimer.
- Any guitars or basses brought to us for consignment that need work to function will have the service or parts fees added on top of the consignment percentage. If it doesn't function, we won't take it.
- If you choose to do so, you are free to take the items back whenever you please with no consignment-related fees attached. HOWEVER. Consignments that have had parts or service done as mentioned above to ensure functionality will be held until any related fees, that are discussed at the start of the consignment are paid in full.
- We will make price suggestions and do research regarding the current retail price in relation what the new price is/was. Ultimately, the price is up to you, and while we prioritize consignments, we still have to think about competition and placement when it comes to advertising. Your Squier Affinity won't sell for $800. Do some research - know what you have and know what it's worth.
